Warangal: TRS regime has become a byword for political corruption, alleged CPI national secretary K Narayana. He accused Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao of insulting the real Telangana activists by inviting and offering key positions to those worked against the interests of Telangana. Those pelted stones and fired at Telangana activists have now become the ruling party MLAs and MLCs.

The MLAs, who fought against the TRS and won the elections, were now part of the government. The TRS has become corrupt with anti-Telangana forces. ‘It is 100 percent political corruption,’ he said speaking to presspersons at CPI office in Hanamkonda on Thursday.
By promoting political migrations, the CM was trying to destroy opposition parties.

However, the CM should understand the fact that if the opposition parties were eliminated the people would don the role of the opposition, he cautioned. The TRS party has gained clear majority by winning 63 MLAs seats, he said while questioning why there were about 85 to 90 MLAs with the TRS.

It was not proper to neglect the TJAC chairman Prof M Kodandaram, who contributed a lot for the cause of separate Telangana, he observed. It was sad that the CM was lacking political courtesy; he said adding Chandrashekar Rao was not soliciting the advice from the CPI, which as a national party lent its support to the statehood cause.

Narayana further alleged that both the CMs of Telugu states N Chandrababu Naidu and Chandrashekar Rao were bowing down before the Prime Minister, Narendra Modi, at the stake of interests of the people in Telugu states. On another hand, the CMs were trying to cover up their failures by hitting at each other.

Earlier in the day, Narayana took part in Telangana Formation Day celebrations and hoisted a flag at the CPI office. Speaking on the occasion, he said all the contractors in Telangana were in the past worked with Andhra rulers. In view of that there was no meaning in criticising Andhra rulers, he added. The government in the State was being dominated by the CM’s family.

Many of the promises like three-acre land to Dalits, double bedroom houses, and others were not yet delivered. Yet the TRS leaders were deceiving the people by claiming they have fulfilled as the election promises, the CPI leader said. The CM, Chandrashekar Rao, was neglecting the farmer suicides and migrations of people from rural places. ‘What is the use of achieving separate Telangana if their issues were not addressed,’ he posted.
