Governor urges Centre to keep tabs on schemes

Governor ESL Narasimhan urged the Central government to keep a regular check on their schemes, which is necessary for improving employment, education, and health standards of the people in the State. Addressing the ‘Vikas Parv’, organised by the Central government departments on Saturday, Narasimhan said, “If you (the government) do not take care of people, they will take care of you,” he said.  

Hyderabad: Governor ESL Narasimhan urged the Central government to keep a regular check on their schemes, which is necessary for improving employment, education, and health standards of the people in the State. Addressing the ‘Vikas Parv’, organised by the Central government departments on Saturday, Narasimhan said, “If you (the government) do not take care of people, they will take care of you,” he said.

The Governor urged the Centre to come out with innovative policies to bring people from unorganised sector to organised sector and to provide employability skills. He also advised the government to bring one card system which can be useful to the citizen for all kinds of their needs.

On the occasion, various Central government departments explained their services and educated the public about the benefits of their services. The departments, in an exhibition, also explained their achievements during the last two years. Union Minister Bandaru Dattatreya assured that the government was going to bring more reforms in health, education and employment sectors.

He said the government was ready to provide one crore jobs and provide necessary training in various skills. Home Minister Naini Narsimha Reddy assured the Union Minister that the State government would implement centrally sponsored schemes properly.
A technical officer of ESI, Deepak, said with this project people could access their nearest dispensaries easily for any health issues without fearing of referral system in hospitals.
