Nalgonda: MP Gutha Sukender Reddy said he joined TRS as he was fed up with the group politics in State Congress and to take active role in the development of Telangana. As the ruling party MP, he conducted the first press meet along with Miryalaguda MLA Bhaskar Rao at his house in Nalgonda on Thursday.

Ruling out the derogatory comments of State Congress in-charge Digvijay Singh and other top brass leaders, he informed that as a senior politician, he had alerted Digvijay and other high command leaders both in verbal and written form about the party status from time to time. Also advised steps to be taken to set right the leaders to regain the lost glory of party, he added.

Gutha suggested the district party leaders, who criticised him without any base, to do self criticism before pointing fingers at him. Condemning the comments of Opposition leaders that he shifted to TRS to get contracts, the MP said that he never recommended even a single contract work to his in-law, who has been in contract business for more than 60 years, when Congress was ruling both State and Centre. He reiterated that at right time he will quit the MP post and predicted that by-poll for Nalgonda MP seat is mandatory.

Miryalaguda MLA Bhaskar Rao said he joined TRS for the development of Miryalaguda constituency only. He thanked Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for selecting Damarcherla mandal for setting up 4000 MW Yadadri thermal power plant through which, the fate of the mandal will change.
