Identify assigned lands, JC tells officials

Karimnagar: District Joint Collector Pausimi Basu told the officials concerned that they should carry out inspection of agricultural lands at the field level before taking up the process of registration of lands under the Sada Bainama scheme. Addressing a review meeting with the RDOs and Tahsildars at the Collectorate in the town on Saturday on land registrations, she directed them to identify the government lands available and also the lands which were encroached.

The Joint Collector told the officials to scrutinise the land records. She pulled up the officials for the slow progress in the identification of assigned lands and told them that they should be taken up on a war footing and submit the report.

Revenue Divisional Officer Chandrashekar, Bhikshaw Naik, Jagtiyal Sub-Collector Krishna Bhaskar and others were present.
