Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy is keen to push through the multi-level car parking project. On Saturday, the commissioner discussed the possibilities with senior officials to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city.
Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) Commissioner B Janardhan Reddy is keen to push through the multi-level car parking project. On Saturday, the commissioner discussed the possibilities with senior officials to ensure smooth flow of traffic in the city.
Additional Commissioner (Traffic) Jithender gave a power point presentation on the multi-level car parking project with inputs from the Chief Engineers of GHMC. Under the Hyderabad Traffic Integrated Management System (HTRIMS) there are 221 traffic junctions and an action plan has been prepared for the improvement of junctions.
A detailed discussion was held on the implementation of the action plan from August and a schedule was prepared. Accordingly, the Commissioner gave instructions to the concerned officials Deputy Commissioner of Police (Traffic) LS Chouhan, GHMC Chief engineers Imtiaz Ahmed, K Suresh and others participated in the meeting.
