Miscreants rob motorists at gun point.
Some unidentified miscreants robbed motorists at Madhapur in Turkapalli mandal in Nalgonda district on Wednesday.

According to the locals, a three-member gang forcibly collected money from the drivers by threatening them with country made pistols.
A DCM lorry driver, who was one of the victims, informed the police who were posted on the outskirts of Turkapalli during Government Whip Sunitha’s Haritha Haram programme.
When the victim’s driver was describing the incident to the police, some of the offenders who saw the the police fled away.
Some people alleged that the police who were on duty did not make any serious attempt to catch the criminals even after complaining.
Meanwhile, Yadadri Circle Inspector of Police Raghuveera Reddy ruled out the incident when The Hans India contacted him over the phone to confirm the money extortion incident from the vehicle drivers at Madhapur.
