Siliguri Mayor calls on GHMC counterpart
Siliguri Municipal Corporation (West Bengal) mayor Ashok Bhattacharya on Wednesday called on Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation Mayor Bonthu Rammohan at the latter’s chambers and discussed about the developmental activities in the city.

Interacting with Ashok Bhattacharya, the GHMC Mayor explained about the innovative schemes taken up by the State government and said the Corporation has been striving hard to make Hyderabad, a world-class City.
Additional commissioner (IT) K Surender Mohan briefed Bhattacharya on the online system with regard to property-tax payments, trade licenses, town-planning building permissions and various other information technology initiatives under taken by GHMC.
Additional Commissioners K Siva Kumar Naidu and Shankaraiah explained about the revenue sources of the Corporation and overall improvement in the collections of property tax, trade license and other income sources to the visiting delegates.
