Hyderabad: Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao on Friday left for New Delhi on a four-day official visit. He is expected to meet Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Union ministers and attend the Inter-State Council meeting to be held on Saturday.

During the meeting, KCR would present a list of demands to the Prime minister and other officials including the long-pending demand for the bifurcation of the High Court and funds for flagship-programmes like Mission Bhageeratha and Mission Kakatiya.

In a bid to exert pressure on the Centre on the issue of river-water sharing, KCR would meet Union Water Resources Minister Uma Bharathi and explain the injustice meted out to Telangana in the allocation of waters from River Krishna and River Godavari.

He would also meet Home Minister Rajnath Singh and Finance Minister Arun Jaitley apart from holding a meeting with all TRS MPs to discuss various issues pending before the Centre.
