The Central Ministry of Culture has planned to upgrade the infrastructure for one State Central Library and one District Library in each State /Union Territory as NML Model Library under the scheme of National Mission on Libraries (NML).
New Delhi: The Central Ministry of Culture has planned to upgrade the infrastructure for one State Central Library and one District Library in each State /Union Territory as NML Model Library under the scheme of National Mission on Libraries (NML). Accordingly, two libraries in AP and Telangana each have been selected for Central funding. The Centre would upgrade these libraries with Rs 80 lakh in AP and Rs 1.64 crore in Telangana.
