New Delhi: TRS MP K Kavitha here on Thursday met Prime Minister Narendra Modi and sought the establishment of a Turmeric Board at Nizamabad. Reiterating the long pending demand ahead of the Prime Minister's visit to the State (on August 7), she urged him fulfill the long felt need of the turmeric-growing State.
Establishment of the board would give a boost to the trade and help the farmers, she explained to him. The MP further brought to his notice that several representations had been made in this regard in the past both to his office and also to the Minister concerned.
