Hyderabad: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has introduced a new system for all its schools, known as “Mandatory Disclosure for CBSE Schools”.

According to a circular issued by the CBSE, all schools affiliated to the Board will have to upload details regarding fee structure and other facilities being provided to the students.

The circular that was issued on September 29, says the “Fee charged should be commensurate with the facilities provided by the Institution” and therefore all schools should make sure to provide all the information about the facilities being provided to the students on the website of CBSE by October 31.

Welcoming this move by the CBSE, Ashish Naredi, executive member of Hyderabad School Parents Association (HSPA) said, “Our requests for justice are finally being heard. It is surely a positive step by CBSE, and parents are actually happy to know about this new circular.

The CBSE should also come out with stringent rules for schools that violate rules.” The new circular, he said would help the parents and students to know about the facilities that schools are offering.

The information by the School is to be uploaded on the link “Mandatory Disclosure for CBSE Schools” available on the Board’s website www.cbse.nic.in.
