Mahbubnagar: District collector Ronald Rose while reviewing the Palamuru Ranga Reddy Lift Irrigation (PRRLI) works with the officials of Irrigation, Revenue and other officials concerned at his chamber on Friday, had directed them to speed up the works and complete the entire project in the stipulated time period of two-and-half years as set by the State government.

The Collector asked the Revenue officials to categorise, assigned, patta and endowment lands coming under the PRRLI project and immediately resolve issues of land acquisition by holding awareness camps in the villages.

“We have asked the Revenue and Irrigation department to prepare a detailed report of village-wise mandal-wise and Revenue division wise land acquisition along with survey numbers.

It is very important to create awareness among the public about the importance of the irrigation project. All those farmers and poor villagers who lost their lands under PRRLI will be benefited with double bedrooms, and will be paid compensation as per governments’ rehabilitation and replacement order,” the Collector said.
