TRS to chalk out strategy for smooth Winter Session
The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislature Party will meet at Telangana Bhavan at 2.30 pm on Thursday to discuss strategy to be adopted by the party in the House during the Winter Session beginning from December 16.
Hyderabad: The Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) Legislature Party will meet at Telangana Bhavan at 2.30 pm on Thursday to discuss strategy to be adopted by the party in the House during the Winter Session beginning from December 16.
According to party sources, the session may last for about a week. A final decision, however, would be taken at the meeting of the Business Advisory Committee, the source said. It may be mentioned here that the Opposition parties had demanded that the government hold the session for at least 15 days.
With the Opposition parties gearing up to confront the government on various issues on the floor of the House, Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao has directed the Ministers and other party seniors to prepare data on various schemes taken up by the government and has asked them to effectively counter the Opposition charges. The government has also decided that it would not allow any kind of disruption of the proceedings of the House by Opposition parties.
