Telangana TDP working president Revanth Reddy on Monday participated in the round table meeting on ‘Palamuru-Rangareddy project’ where he castigated Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao over the irrigation projects.

Alleging that KCR was constantly repeating that the irrigation water will be made available for one crore acres in order to embezzle funds, the TDP MLA questioned the state government whether demanding transparency in the construction of projects was a crime.

Stating that the Chief Minister never mentioned the need for redesigning the projects but has brought up the issue only after the embrace of ‘Bethala Mantrikudu’, Revanth Reddy reminded that 90 percent of the works in the Mahabubnagar district projects was completed by the earlier TDP, Congress governments.

He further said that the redesigning concept has come to the fore earlier for votes and now for notes.
