In a tragic mishap, an Class 8 student was killed after falling into a Mission Bhagiratha pit. The deceased, Sumalatha studied at Girijana School and stayed at the hostel in Lakhampur of Adilabad district.
In a tragic mishap, an Class 8 student was killed after falling into a Mission Bhagiratha pit. The deceased, Sumalatha studied at Girijana School and stayed at the hostel in Lakhampur of Adilabad district.
The incident occurred when Sumalatha came out for defecation as there are no toilets in the school but fell into the pit losing her life.
Family members of the victim are staging protests outside the hostel demanding action on the management for not arranging toilets and also the officials of Mission Bhagiratha for their negligence.
Sumalatha parents are not willing to back down until the Collector meets with their demands.
