Hyderabad: Congress president Sonia Gandhi on Tuesday appointed a new team to look after the party affairs in Telangana.
While relieving AICC General Secretary Digvijay Singh as the incharge of Telangana Congress affairs, Sonia Gandhi appointed AICC Secretary R.C. Khuntia as the new incharge. He will be assisted by AICC Secretary Satish Jarkiholi.
Meanwhile, the Congress party has launched two more frontral organisation for Professionals and Unorganised Workers. While Dr. Shashi Tharoor will be the chairman of All India Professionals Congress, Arbind Singh and Irfan Alam have been appointed as the Chairman and Vice-Chairman respectively for All India Unorganised Workers Congress.
