Yadadri thermal power plant gets 4 k cr loan

Hyderabad: State-run Power Finance Corp (PFC) has approved a term-loan proposal for extending financial assistance of Rs 4,009 crore to 4,000-MW Yadadri thermal power plant in Nalgonda district, Telangana.
PFC has sanctioned the term loan to TS GENCO (Telangana Power Generation Corporation Ltd) for setting up 5X800 MW, coal-based Yadadri thermal power plant using super-critical technology in Nalgonda district, according to a release from PFC.
The Yadadri thermal power plant will generate 29,784 million units of energy to meet the future power requirement of Telangana state. Recently, PFC and TS GENCO signed the loan agreement for the project in a ceremony held here.
