The day will be celebrated in coordination with the departments of tourism and culture, health and sanitation, electricity, water works and the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) on October 21at Y M C A. On the directions of the Chief Minister, Corporators Hemalatha, Shankar Yadav and Ekkala Chaitanya have supervised the Y M C A premises, wherein the processions will be organised at 6.30 pm for a cultural fiesta. Speaking at the meeting, Srinivas Yadav said, “The State government is formulating several policies to ensure that Golla and Kurma communities are given enough boost to develop.

This includes the sanction of 1962 mobile veterinary centres and sanction of land worth Rs 10 crore near Budvel, Shamshabad to cater to their needs.” Representative of the Yadav community, Vinod Yadav, TRS leader Eddla Hari Babu Yadav, Hyderabad TGO President B Krishna Yadav, GHMC Zonal Commissioner Raghu Babu, Cultural Department Director Mammidi Harikrishna and several other officials participated in the meeting.
