Telangana Home Minister N Narasimha Reddy on Thursday announced in the Assembly that 200 SHE teams are working constructively to provide security to the women in the state.
The Minister informed that the teams are mostly operated near educational institutions and bus stations to keep a check on the offenders. The SHE teams are imparting training to women on self-defense.
Formed in 2014, the SHE Teams are engaged in surveillance of Hyderabad’s hot spots to check harassment of women and eve teasing ensuring the safety of women.
