Special pujas mark Mukkoti Ekadasi

Hyderabad: A large number of devotees thronged Vaishnava temples on the occasion of auspicious Mukkoti Ekadasi festival.

The ardent devotees visited temples in the early hours and had darshan of Lord Maha Vishnu through Uttara Dwaram. The temples, including TTD temple at Himayatnagar, Birla Mandir, Srinagar Venkateshwara Swami temple, Gaddiannaram Veera Venkata Sathyanarayana temple, Ziaguda Ranganatha temple were filled with devotees.

Governor E S L Narasimhan and his wife Vimala Narasimhan and Jubilee Hills MLA Maganti Gopinath visited Sri Venkateshwara Swamy temple at Srinagar Colony through Uttara Dwaram. The devotees braved the cold weather conditions to visit temples in the early hours.
