HCA asked to implement Lodha panel proposals
The High Court at Hyderabad has requested the Committee of Administrators (CoA) to ensure that all measures are taken in the proposed general body meeting of the Hyderabad Cricket Association (HCA) to be held in the second week of June to implement the Justice Lodha Committee recommendations.

Necessary amendments to the by-laws may be carried out in the meeting, the court suggested. The division bench comprising of Acting Chief Justice Ramesh Ranganathan and Justice K Vijayalakshmi also suggested to the CoA, comprising former judges, on Thursday to involve Dr Ratnakar Shetty, who has been appointed as observer, in this exercise.
The bench was dealing with the PIL case filed by Govind Reddy, an advocate, seeking CBI inquiry into financial mismanagement in HCA and its reforms.
The bench observed that despite so much time after Justice Lodha Committee made its recommendations, they were not being implemented in the HCA.
It wanted both the CoA and the newly-appointed observer to act in tandem to ensure that the recommendations are implemented. The case was adjourned to June 25.
