Cantonment: The ‘padayatra’ by TPCC secretary Ganesh aimed at development of the Cantonment constituency continued in the eighth ward on Thursday, after touching the Fourth Ward. It had commenced in the Fifth Ward. People enlightened the Congress leader about their problems, particularly lack of 24-hour service in Bollaram government hospital. He claimed that the MLA had allotted Rs.25 lakh to the hospital, following his demand two days back.

The Congress leader demanded a white paper on the development works taken up in the constituency.
