Hyderabad: Chanchalguda Central Prison on Friday conducted suicidal vigilance class for staff and prisoners to create awareness on suicidal symptoms and how to prevent and deal with it. The main motive of the class was to make them aware about the value of life and also to be cautious and attentive in order to avoid any suicidal attempt by person. This class was aimed at how to help any person in realising that the problems and difficulties are part of life and as well we should respect others feelings while helping them to come out of problems and find solutions for each other, the press release stated.

Superintendent of Prisons K Arjuna Rao praised the efforts of Prof C Beena, Unnthi Programme Organiser and her team Bhoolaxmi and Kumari Rajitha in arranging the programme for the benefit of prisoners and staff. Deputy Superintendent of Prisons D Srinivas, Deputy Superintendent of Prisons P Saibaba, and Jailor A Venkatesham also participated in the programme.
