Hyderabad: Telangana Rashtra Samiti (TRS) on Saturday slammed TPCC working president A Revanth Reddy for his outbursts against Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao. Ministers and leaders addressed separate media conferences to deplore the comments made by Revanth Reddy against the Chief Minister.
Minister for Energy G Jagdish Reddy, MLCs Palla Rajeshwar Reddy and Bodakunti Venkateshwarlu warned Revanth to mind his language or face consequences for abusing the Chief Minister and his family members. They took strong exception to the Congress leaders’ reaction to Income Tax raids on Revanth Reddy. The Congress leaders were trying to project it like as if it was big calamity for the State. Income Tax Department acted on a complaint filed by an individual and there was no role of TRS and BJP as being alleged by Congress party leaders, they said.
MP Balka Suman, MLCs Naradasu Lakshman Rao, Srinivas Reddy, senior leader Gattu Ramachander Rao, TRSV president G Srinivas Yadav also lashed out at Revanth Reddy for targeting KCR family. They said Revanth Reddy had failed to explain how he had amassed assets disproportionate to his known source of income.
