Lal Darwaza: Sharannavarathri celebrations are being held at the historical temple of Mahankali located at Lal Darwaza.
As part of celebrations, the goddess Durga was adorned with thousands of bangles and was offered special prayers.
Later the bangles were distributed to women devotees. After the distribution of bangles, Bathukamma was celebrated with pomp and gaiety.
Women sang and danced around bathukamma led by Jagruthi leader Shailaja Goud.
Temple committee chairman PY Kailash Veer, vice president K Venkatesh, Tirupathi Narsingarao, former president K Vishnu Goud, Dharmaveer and other were participated in the programme.
