Mancherial: Mancherial Congress candidate Kokkirala Premsagar Rao here on Friday assured retired Singareni workers that their problems would be solved after the Congress assumed power.

Welcoming more than 50 workers and youth into Congress fold, who joined as they were impressed by Rahul Gandhi's leadership, Premsagar Rao said after Congress formed the government, Singareni retired staff would be given pension as well as residential plots and financial support to help them construct houses. The Congress candidate also promised to construct community hall for the workers fraternity.

Premsagar Rao came down heavily on KCR, claiming that the TRS government failed on all fronts and advised the gathering not to be carried away by false promise of KCR.

Premsagar Rao also assured people that he would lend support to newly formed Naspur municipality to develop in all respects and appealed to the gathering to cast their vote to the Congress and elect him to Assembly. He also announced that unemployment allowance would be given after Congress is elected to power.

Retired Singareni leaders Rajanna, Subbareddy, Congress leaders Peram Ramesh, Syed Khasim, Sankaraiah, Sohail, Lingaiah, Sravan and others were present.
