Moghalpura: AIMIM floor leader Akbaruddin Owaisi announced on Tuesday that soon there would be a cancer research center in Owaisi Hospital, while addressing a public meeting in Moghalpura.
Akbaruddin explained to the people about the contributions of the party. “Owaisi group of hospitals is for public. Five years back Asra Hospital and Owaisi Hospital had lack of new equipment and doctors, but now it is the best hospital in the city with best doctors and infrastructure. Hundreds of patients are treated, and soon there will be a Cancer Research Centre at Owaisi Hopsital, Santosh Nagar, and it will become the best cancer hospital in the city,” Akbar said.
“Everyone asks Majlis Kya Karri,” he said and proceeded to answer that so far 4,500 MBBS doctors, 15,000 engineers, 3,500 MBA students, 3,000 MCA students, 2,000 pharmacists, 5,500 nurses and 300 physiotherapists were produced by Owaisi institutions. In all, Owaisi group of hospitals and educational institutes employs around 5,500 people.
“Is this not a work?” asked Akbar. “In Darrussalaam Bank, about thousand employees are working. In last five years, more branches were opened. Is this not a work?” he said, adding: “Ye karri Majlis” (Majlis is doing this). Charminar MLA candidate Mumtaz Ahmed Khan, Maharashtra, Byculla AIMIM MLA, Waris Pathan and all party workers were present.
