Kothagudem: The people are expecting the first result would be announced the Bhadrachalam consistency whose number is 119. The ST consistency of Bhadrachalam has only 161 polling stations for the 1, 09,898 votes polled in the elections.
According to officials, the mandal wise polled voters were Wazedu – 15,369, Venkatapuram–18,511, Charla – 24,520, Dummagudem – 27,545 and Bhadrachalam – 23,953 votes. Overall the 80.03 per cent of votes were polled in the elections.
It is very small consistency as compared to other consistencies in the State. Therefore, people are expecting the first result from the last number (119) consistency of Bhadrachalam in the counting of the poll.
The election officials have made all arrangements for the counting of votes at the Palvoncha town in the district. For each consistency there are 14 tables for counting of votes. It is expected that the counting will be completed by 11.30 am on Tuesday. Since the number Bhadrachalam is a small constituency, people are expecting its result will be first in all consistencies.
