Hyderabad: The Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE) has notified the dates of TS Eamcet-2019 and other common entrance tests here on Saturday.

According to TSCHE Chairman Prof T Papi Reddy, the common entrance tests will be held through computer-based tests (CBT) mode and the TS Eamcet-2019 examination will be held in May. The entrance for the Engineering stream will be held on May 3, 4 and 6. The online mode examination will be held in two sessions on the scheduled dates.

The forenoon session is from 10 am to 1 pm and the afternoon session will be held from 3 pm to 6 pm, he said. Similarly, the entrance test for the Agriculture stream will be held on May 8 and 9 in two sessions. The TS Eamcet-2019 will be conducted by the Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad (JNTU-H).

Similarly, the Telangana State Engineering Common Entrance Test-2019 (TSECET-2019) for the diploma holders of engineering, technology and pharmacy and for B Sc (Mathematics) degree holders will be conducted by the JNTU-H. The examination will be held on May 11, from 10 am to 1 pm and 3 pm to 6 pm in two sessions.

The Mahatma Gandhi University (MGU), Nalgonda will hold the TS Physical Education Common Entrance Test -2019 (TS PECET) on May 20. However, there will be no computer-based test for this and only physical efficiency and skill steps will be held.

Similarly, the Kakatiya University (KU), Warangal will be holding the Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test -2019 (TS ICET-2019) for admission into MBA and MCA courses for two days on May 23 and 24 in two sessions.

The test timings for the forenoon session are 10 am to 12.30 pm and in the afternoon the test will be held from 2.30 pm to 5 pm, Papi Reddy said.

Osmania University, Hyderabad will hold the Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test - 2019 (TS LAWCET-2019) for admission into LLB course on May 26.Similarly, the OU will hold the Telangana Postgraduate Law Common Entrance Test -2019 (TSPGLAWCET-2019) on May 26. While the PG LAWCET-2019 will be held in the forenoon from 11 am to 12.30 pm, the TS PGLAWCET-2019 will be held in the afternoon from 2.30 pm to 4 pm.

The TSCHE Chairman said that like the previous academic year, the OU will be holding the Telangana Postgraduate Common Entrance Test – 2019 (TSPGCET) on May 27 to 29 in two sessions for admission into various post graduate courses in the universities departments, constituent colleges as well as the affiliated colleges offering postgraduate courses.

The forenoon session of the TSPGECET-2019 will be held from 10 am to 12 pm in the forenoon session and from 2 pm to 4 pm in the afternoon session. Similarly, the OU will also be holding the Telangana Education Common Entrance Test-2019 (TSEdCET-2019) for two days on May 30 and 31 in two sessions. The CBT will be held from 11 am to 1 pm in the forenoon and 3 pm to 5 pm in the afternoon sessions.
