Nawabpet KGBV students make it to Sub Junior selections in handball
Exhibiting excellent performances in the handball game, the girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Balikala Vidyalaya KGBV school have been selected for the State level SubJunior Handball Championship to be held in Warangal from January 22 to 24
Mahbubnagar: Exhibiting excellent performances in the handball game, the girl students of Kasturba Gandhi Balikala Vidyalaya (KGBV) school have been selected for the State level Sub-Junior Handball Championship to be held in Warangal from January 22 to 24.
Of the total 16 member team from Mahbubnagar district, about 10 girl students have been selected from KGBV Nawabpet sports academy which is a great achievement for the academy.
“It is a great achievement for the KGBV Nawabpet as 10 girls have been selected from the single academy compared to others. We have appointed Archana as the coach and we hope that she will lead the girls to victory during the competition,” said DYSO Satya Vani of Mahbubnagar district.
Somireddy, District Education Officer, Rajya Laxmi Special officer and Academy in-charge Sunil Kumar, who is also the boxing coach, have expressed their happiness for the achievement of girls and conveyed their best wishes.
