Times Kids Nallakunta celebrates 11th annivversary

Nallakunta: Times Kids of Nallakunta branch celebrated its 11th anniversary at Sundaraiah Vignana Kendram, Baghlingampally, on Sunday. The celebrations began with children singing poems of Rabindranath Tagore. As part of celebrations, various cultural programmes were conducted by the kids.

The programmes included traditional and western dances, and dance performances on patriotic songs sung in various Indian languages such as Assamese, Gujarathi, Marathi, Punjabi, Telugu and Sindi. Parents too participated in some of the cultural programmes. Addressing a meeting, school principal Sridevi Vudumula advised parents to encourage their kids in acquiring new skills rather than force them to excel in studies.

She said that the school has good basic facilities required for imbibing necessary skills to kids. While taking utmost care of kids and providing them entertainment, the school also ensures that kids get essential learning skills, she said. Parents, children, teaching and non-teaching staff participated in the celebrations.
