Kore Venkatamma (65) hails from Mittakoduru village, died with a heart attack after casting her vote in the polling station. She is said to be the mother of fourth ward candidate Kore Narsimlu. The dead body was rushed to her house.
Police controlled minor brawls at the stations.As many as 68 voters in Salveed village of Kalkacharla mandal complained of missing their names in voter list. Those who cast their vote in assembly polls also missed their names in voter list. They expressed their anguish over officials’ laxity and sought stern actions against them.
