Railway workers stage protest
As per the call given by South Central Railway Mazdoor Union SCRMU, general secretary, CH Shankar Rao, railway workers staged a protest at all depots under Secunderabad division on Thursday They raised slogans stating that injustice has been done to them in the recent budget allocation They demanded amendment of fitment formula

They raised slogans stating that injustice has been done to them in the recent budget allocation. They demanded amendment of fitment formula.
The other demands included, doing away with the new pension scheme and increasing running staff allowances in accordance with district committee, promotions to supervisors, eight-hour work mode, scrapping of sealing on bonus, continuation of largesse scheme, filling of vacant seats, no privatization, AC facility in TTE restrooms and construction of restrooms for trackmen.Division secretary P Ravinder, asst general secretaries Arun Kumar and Shiva Kumar, asst secretary Satyanarayana and staff of all the departments took part.
