Governor couple prays at Yadadri shrine

Yadadri: Governor ESL Narasimhan felt that it was his fortune to spend time at Yadadri shrine and expressed his pleasure over taking blessings of the priests on the auspicious Vasantha Panchami day.
The Governor and his wife Vimala Narasimhan took the darshan of Lord Laxminarasimha Swamy at Balalayam on the auspicious day. Priests welcomed the Governor couple with Purna Kumbham and blessed them after a puja as per the rituals of the temple.
The Governor couple spent almost an hour on the temple premises and performed special puja on the occasion.
Speaking to media later, Narasimhan said he prayed to the God to keep the people of the State healthy and wealthy and stated that Yadadri shrine would get international identity.
He appreciated the efforts of Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao for temple revamp and frequent inspection of renovation works of the temple. District Collector Anita Ramachandran, Temple Executive Officer Geetha Reddy, DCP Ramachandra Reddy and other officials accompanied the Governor and the first lady of the State during their visit to the shrine.
