Secunderabad: Secunderabad MLA T Padma Rao Goud handed over cheques worth of Rs 34 lakh sanctioned from the Chief Minister Relief Fund (CMRF) and cheques worth of Rs 2.5 lakh sanctioned from BC Welfare Department to beneficiaries at TRS Party office in Addagutta on Tuesday. A total of 72 beneficiaries received CMRF cheques and five beneficiaries received cheques from BC Welfare Department.

Expressing their gratitude to the Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao (KCR) for the timely help, beneficiaries said that they are grateful to the local MLA for coming forward to help them. Speaking on the occasion, Padma Rao Goud wished speedy recovery of beneficiaries and asked people to approach him in case of any emergency.

He advised the BC beneficiaries who received cheques from BC Welfare Department to utilise the money for good purpose and to start new businesses. The MLA said that the state government introduced several BC welfare schemes and strove for the welfare of BCs. Corporators, TRS leaders and others were present on the occasion.
