Cyberabad CP cautions people on fake messages for Pulwama funds
Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Monday said that it has come to his notice that several messages are in circulation on social media regarding fund collection for families of martyred CRPF personnel and advised citizens to be careful before donating funds
Hyderabad: Cyberabad Police Commissioner V C Sajjanar on Monday said that it has come to his notice that several messages are in circulation on social media regarding fund collection for families of martyred CRPF personnel and advised citizens to be careful before donating funds.
Messages on social media are allegedly for contribution to the families of CRPF personnel who died in Pulwama’s Awantipora terror attack on February 14, 2019 in Jammu & Kashmir State.
The Commissioner also requested the citizens not to believe and fall prey to such messages without verifying their source and deposit amounts into such fraudulent bank accounts.
He also requested the public to donate the amounts into the Prime Ministers Relief Fund which is www.bharatkeveer. gov.in, or IGP SS CRPF HYD –PULWAMA FUND Account Number 38270904721, IFSC Code SBIN0011745, State Bank of India, Jubilee Hills Branch.
