Award winning director Sunil Kumar Reddy expressed happiness about the mention about his recent release ‘Gulf’ in the popular Gulf News. “It is a pride for us. As Gulf News carried a centre-spread article about our film which revolves around the trials and tribulations of a Gulf immigrants, it is a rarity,” he says and adds “We will be releasing the film in Dubai and Qatar and other centres in a week after readying the prints with English subtitles since it has perfect Middle East connect,”.

Meanwhile, the maker of ‘Oka Romantic Crime Katha’ is expecting collections to shore up in two Telugu states, as the film received huge critical acclaim. “Of course we received loads of critical acclaim and we are happy about it. But we are looking for collections to pick up on the word-of-mouth publicity and recover our investment. Already, it has opened to decent response, despite competition, we hope that the film will consolidate over this weekend on the strength of the theme,” he adds. Sunil earned lot of appreciation for his work, but now looking to rake in moolah.
