Police release pix of terror bicycle

The city police on Sunday released the pictures of the bicycle used in recent bomb blasts at Dilsukhnagar and appealed to public and second hand cycle vendors to provide information available with them, if any, regarding the same.Police Commissioner Dwaraka Tirumala Rao said in a press note that an examination of the bicycle used at A1 Mirchi Centre near Konark Theatre had shown that the bicycle had different parts of different makes such as Atlas, Hero, BM, Longman etc. The bicycle may have been purchased by terrorists about a week before the blasts. The press note said if people in the know of relevant information provide it to the police at this stage they will be treated as witnesses. Otherwise, it will be considered as a deliberate act to conceal evidence and relevant action will be taken. People offering information will be suitable rewarded and their identities will be kept confidential, the police announced.
