A Labor Minister Danam Nagender has challenged the TDP leaders that he was ready to resign as minister if they proved that he had scolded police officers. Speaking to the media here on Tuesday, Danam alleged there were some TDP coverts in the City police force. He also alleged that the TDP leaders had instigated the police to register cases against him.
Stating that he will take the allegations of the police officers against him to Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy, Danam said the TDP leaders were jealous of his soaring popularity. Responding to a question, Danam said he would not react on the CBI charge-sheet against Home Minister Sabita Indra Reddy without knowing the contents. To another question, Danam said the party high command would look after the issue of electoral alliance with the MIM.
He also made it clear that he and another Hyderabad Minister Mukesh Goud were not against creation of separate Telangana State.
