Walk, look and marvel: flower lovers will encounter 200 different Alpine plants on a kilometer long trail, many of them protected species, are laid out in beautiful, numbered islands of flowers. A brochure will be provided that will have all the necessary information on the flora and fauna in the valley. The route is suitable for wheelchairs and pushchairs.

The 50 minutes hike from the railway station of Morteratsch will take you though the mystical milky glacial lake as well as the glacier's giant ice-tongue. There are audio texts all available on the Bernina Glaciers app. You can also access them by scanning the QR code at the 16 information points along the glacier trail. Children between the age 5-12 years can purchase a book called ‘Sabi's big dream’ , designed to immerse children in the fascinating glacier world while they have fun following the story. The booklets are available at Pontresina Tourist Information, at most hotels in Pontresina, at Camping Morteratsch and at the Pontresina Alpine show dairy.

Barefoot trails are designed for outdoor enthusiasts who want to explore nature underfoot – in the truest sense of the word. The undergrowth alternates between water, meadow and forest path and one can choose from 3 different paths varying in the distance.

The Via Gastronomica is a very special experience that combines the variety of local cuisine with the beauty of the Engadine mountain landscape. You can hike entirely according to your gusto, because the trail offers visitors various “courses” of different length. Hike on mountain trails of easy to medium level of difficulty; depending on the route selection, 2 – 5 hours.
Price: CHF 52 * Includes railway trip and 3-course menu in various restaurants along the way. Reservation required for groups.

This family-friendly, easy-going tour takes visitors to the Ricola Herb Garden, at the entrance to the Roseg valley, and then into the Tais Forest. The Garden is home to the 13 herbs used to make every Ricola herbal sweet. The little information panels tell you about various herbs that are available. The trail continues along a gently sloping path into Tais Forest. Often the melodious songs of the many birds are accompanied by the sound of symphony orchestras, which regularly hold summer concerts here.
