Cong. recognised my services: Kolagatla

Vizianagaram: "My hard work has paid dividends as the Congress party has recognised my services and offered me an MLC post," said District Congress Committee president Kolagatla Veerabhadra Swamy. He thanked AICC president Sonia Gandhi, Chief Minister N Kiran Kumar Reddy and PCC chief Botcha Satyanarayana for giving him the opportunity. Addressing the media here on Saturday, he said, "I will be available to the party cardres, and at the same time, I would strive to strengthen the party. Furthermore, I will encourage the party workers to work hard for the development of the party." Earlier, he was given a rousing reception by party leaders Yadla Ramanamurthy, Pilla Vijay Kumar and the party workers upon his arrival in the town for the first time after being elected as an MLC. The party leaders and workers took out a massive procession to celebrate the elevation of Kolagatla.
