Protest against death of Sarabjit Singh loksattaVizianagaram: State secretary of Lok Satta party Bhishetty Babji, leading the party activists, staged a dharna and burnt the effigy of PakistanA here on Saturday in front of RTC Complex protesting against the death of Sarabjit Singh. Addressing the protestors, Mr Babji accused Pakistan of acting in an inhuman manner in its jails. It may be recalled that earlier, Chamel Singh too was killed in a jail in Lahore in January this year. He recalled that last year the Pakistani soldiers attacked the Indian soldiers and chopped off their heads and left their bodies behind. He expressed anguish over the barbaric act of Pakistan, which was committing heinous crimes against the Indian prisoners who are languishing in the Pakistan jails. Lok Satta district secretary K Dayanand said that protests against the death of Sarabjit were staged across the country. He appealed to other countries to condemn Pakistan for indulging in such barbaric acts and demanded that India stop bilateral relations with that country unless it stops giving support to terrorist activities. The Lok Satta workers raised slogans against Pakistan. Yuva Satta district president P Venkatramana, T Koteshwar Rao, Nagaraju, Yerribabu, Vasu and others were present.
