Visakhapatnam: Bust size statues of Tirupati Venkata Kavulu would be unveiled on the RK Beach Road by Minister for Ports and Investments Ganta Srinivasa Rao on Sunday evening under the aegis of Lok Nayak Foundation. Lok Nayak Foundation founder president and former MP Dr Yarlagadda Lakshmi Prasad told reporters here on Saturday that they were fortunate to unveil the statues of great poets and Avadhana Saraswatis � Divakarla Tirupati Sastry and Chellapilla Venkata Sastry, both popularly known as 'Tirupati Venkata Kavulu'. He said the poets belonged to the last period of 19th century and to the initial period of the 20th century. They strived to make people interested in Telugu language with their sweet poems. Among others, Dr Medasani Mohan and Dr Betavolu Ramabrahmam would attend the event. Poetic ballet 'Pandavodyoga Vijayalu' by Gummadi Gopalakrishna would be presented, he added.
