Next destination Florida, says Miss India runner up Sobhita

Interacts with students at alma mater Visakha Valley School Visakhapatnam: ``Off to Florida for the 2014 Internatonal Pageants'', says Miss India first runner-up Sobhita Dhuliphala. A student of Visakha Valley School, the 22-year-old Sobhita was back in her school interacting with the students, teachers and staff members, at a felicitation function organised by the school management in her honour in the school premises here on Thursday. While addressing a packed audience at the school auditorium, she narrated her thrill and excitement while winning close to the crown. She was all praise for the teachers and principal Ms Sarada Reddy who were responsible in moulding her personality which helped her win the coveted position. "I was never snubbed by the teachers for neglecting my studies. Rather they counseled me with patience which made me comeback to the track,'' Sobhita said. She advised the students to be sincere in their studies and decide upon a career at an early stage so that they can work in that direction. Quoting a vedic hymn, she told the students to respect the teachers who play an important role in the development of the students. The School Principal said Sobhita made her school proud by winning the runner up in Miss India contest. "She is a committed girl and never lost her direction," she said. Later, talking to this correspondent, she said she has been getting offers from Tollywood and Mumbai but she would concentrate more on her present career. "I am turning down the offers and looking forward to participate in the International pageant likely to be held in Florida next year and hoping to win the Miss World crown,'' she said with a confident smile on her face. Sobhita earlier won Pond's Femina Miss India Bangalore 2013, Ray Femina Miss Adventurous, Max Femina Miss Fashion Icon 2012 and Tresemme Femina Miss Stylish Hair 2013.
