New KU Development Officer takes charge
Prof Gade Dayakar, Head of Chemistry Department of Kakatiya University, took charge as the university Development Officer from Registrar Prof K Purushotham, at a programme organised at the Administrative Building of the university in Hanamkonda on Thursday.

Prof Dayakar has been discharging his duties as a professor in Chemistry department since 27 years. He also rendered his services in various administrative positions such as principal of Arts and Science College, Additional Controller, Director of Publication Cell, Director of Kakatiya Adhyayana Kendram and as a Chairperson of Board of Studies.
He is also rendering his services as the President of Association of Kakatiya University Teachers (AKUT).
Speaking on the occasion, Dayakar said that he will strive hard for the development of the university along with improving the educational standards by increasing the allocation of basic facilities.
