Bhupalpally: In a first of its kind initiative, the district forest department is organising an intensive coaching programme for the candidates from agency villages appearing for forest section officers and beat officers’ examinations.

The training is going on at Eturunagaram and Mahadevpur in the district, where nearly 250 job aspirants are attending the classes. The District Collector, A Murali, conservator of forests MJ Akbar, district forest officer (DFO) T Ravi Kiran have distributed study material to the students at Mahadevpur.

The Collector Murali addressing the students asked them to work hard and make optimum use of time to clear the examinations. There are nearly 300 posts available for the candidates in erstwhile Warangal and Karimnagar districts and those attending the coaching must secure most of those posts.

He appreciated the initiative of the DFO and other officials of the department in conducting the coaching classes for the benefit of unemployed youth in remote agency villages. Giving an account of his personal experiences, the Collector advised the youth to trust in their talent and hard work and not to get distracted.

Conservator of Forests Akbar noted that the coaching classes are a godsent chance for the job aspirants as the department is ensuring a quality training being given at cities like Warangal and Hyderabad. ‘It is equally precious opportunity for us to serve your need,’ he said.

DFO Ravi Kiran said the 45-day coaching is launched at the advice of the District Collector, Murali. Experts from Winners Academy in Warangal are being engaged to train the students to face the competitive tests.

He hoped that nearly 75 per cent of the candidates undergoing coaching could get the jobs. Mock examinations for the candidates would be conducted from October 1 onwards. The coaching being given would also be helpful to appear for other competitive tests.

On the occasion the collector Murali has released an eco-tourism calendar brought out by the district forest department. Events like rock climbing, trekking, cycling and others adventure activities are being offered for the enthusiasts on regular basis, said the DFO.

The candidates attending the coaching thanked the district administration and the forest department for conducting the classes. Divisional forest officer C Vajra Reddy, forest range officer B Ramesh, Winners Academy Director L Raji Reddy and others are present.
