Komaram Bheem’s death anniversary observed

Asifabad: Adivasi legendary Komaram Bheem’s 77th death anniversary was observed at Jodeghat in Kerameri mandal on Friday.

Komaram Bheem’s grandson Komaram Sone Rao performed special pooja on the occasion. Forest and Environment Minister Jogu Ramanna, MP Nagesh, legislators Kova Lakshmi, Koneru Konappa and Babu Rao, Asifabad Collector M Champalal and Mancherial Collector RV Karnan paid rich tributes to the legend.

Earlier, adivasis welcomed the dignitaries with their traditional dances. Later, the officials and people’s representatives visited the museum that depicted the tradition and culture of tribal communities through photographs.
