Man sexually abused by youth
In a rather strange incident, a 32-year-old male was sexually abused allegedly by four unidentified youth in the district. The incident, which took place on March 8, came to light lately as the victim’s family members lodged a complaint with the police on Monday evening.

According to the police, the victim was Ajmeera Kommalu and belongs to Hemla thanda on the outskirts of Maheshwaram in Narsampet mandal. It was said that the youth asked the victim to come with them for a drink and taken him in auto rickshaw to a desolated place and abused him sexually. But the victim did not reveal the matter to his family members immediately.
On learning about the incident, his family members lodged a complaint with Narsampet police on Monday. A case in connection with the incident was booked under the IPC sections 376 (Punishment for rape) and 377 (Unnatural offences), informed circle inspector Devender Reddy.
