Women’s Day at VRS
On the occasion of International Women’s Day, Vivekananda Residential School management had organised 3K Run here at early hours of Monday, sensitising awareness about cancer among women. Later various programmes showcasing the importance of women was portrayed through dances, skits and highly inspired speeches at the school.

Later various programmes showcasing the importance of women was portrayed through dances, skits and highly inspired speeches at the school.
The School Principal T Lalitha Kumari said that we should respect all the women, who render selfless services in our day-to-day life. She also specified the crucial role played by men, who stand behind the success of a women and enrich her achievements. Dr Sathya Prabha, Gynecologist, was the chief guest at the programme. Various entertaining games were conducted to mothers and women teachers throughout the day. The event ended with distribution of prizes and appreciation certificates to the winners and the teachers.
