Warangal: District Congress Committee (DCC) president Naini Rajender Reddy is set to launch a five-day padayatra in all the GWMC divisions in Warangal (West) Assembly segment.
City congress president Katla Srinivas Rao speaking to the press here on Wednesday informed that the Congress president will conduct the padayatra from June 8 to 12. He would make door-to-door visits from 8 am to 4 pm and interact with the individuals.
The padayatra was aimed at learning the problems the citizens facing in their localities and to find solutions to them. The TRS government, which failed to deliver its elected promises made to the citizens under GWMC limits, was duping them with new promises every other day, he complained.
The padayatra titled ‘Mana intiki Rajender Anna’ would expose the failure of the State government and Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao and local legislators and ministers in delivering the election promises and were engaged in making false claims on developing the city, Srinivasa Rao said.
According to him, Rajender Reddy would tour GWMC divisions 30, 47, 52, 48 and 31 on June 8, 9, 10, 11 and 12 respectively. TPCC spokesperson K Ravali, block Congress president N Laxma Reddy, NSUI leader A Karthik, leaders B Samapth Yadav, G Raju and others were present.
